The main point is that Great Britian is related to Europe by the means of security politics via NATO not via the EU. What does that mean ? It means that not really much will change because the British prevented parallel structures between EU and NATO. In fact Germany will be a more important future partner of the UK next to France and the USA. The UK mostly relies on NATO ties, not EU ties. We can be sure to be reliable partners in the future.
